Teacher Found Dead at Munford School in Isolated Incident, Officials Say

Munford, TN – A staff member at a Munford school was found deceased on campus just before students arrived for the day, according to school officials. The incident, which occurred approximately 30 miles north of Memphis, has been described as isolated, with no threat to students or staff.

Tipton County Schools Assistant Superintendent Rebekah Byrd confirmed the discovery, stating that the situation was handled quickly and with care. Authorities have not yet released the name of the deceased staff member, and the cause of death remains undisclosed.
