‘ The Five’ Co-Hosts Make 2026 Predictions

Co-hosts of the hit Fox News program ‘The Five’ took turns offering several predictions for 2026. Some of them were more serious than others, but one prediction would dramatically shake things up if it were to come true.

During a segment on the show, co-host Jesse Watters joked that he was going to leave the show in 2026. Below is a transcript of the exchange:

Greg: First prediction, someone in the media will call someone in the Trump White House racist. The exact date, January 30th, 2026. Then someone in the media will call someone in the Trump White House a Nazi, the exact date, February 4th, 2026, mark my words, someone in the media will lose their job and blame racism and/or homophobia and then get a podcast. No one will watch it. Seth Meyers will retire in June. No one will notice. There will be a giant bombshell report released into the media mid-January. It will be exposed as a hoax and it will happen again every two months. Finally, there will be a police or an ICE action that will create raging hyperbole in the media, amplified nationally, creating protests, then riots. This will happen in the second week of August.

Dana: Wow, good.

Jessica: Definitely the first one, a high likelihood of all of those coming through. Jesse, what do you got?

Jesse: Someone is going to leave “the five.”

Dana: Oh.

Jesse: Maybe for a medical reason.

Dana: Oh, no,

Jesse: Maybe someone goes on to greener pastures.

Dana: What are greener pastures?

Jesse: It’s a production, Dana.

Dana: Terrible.

Jesse: Okay, that will happen.

Jesse is leaving. Where are you going?

Jesse: Prediction: someone will have a baby on “The Five.”

Jessica: So I wanted —

Jesse: Are you pregnant again?

Jessica: I looked great. No, but I wanted to predict that either you or Greg were going to have another baby next year.

Jesse: Well, like usual, I beat you to it.

Jessica: Your vessels are going to —

Dana: That’s disgusting.

Jesse: Greg does have a baby; I will deliver.

Co-host Dana Perino predicted that New York Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer will not seek re-election this year.

Perino also predicted that if Democrats win back the U.S. House in November, she does not believe New York Democratic Rep. Hakeem Jeffries will be the Speaker.

“I went all political. I think senator Chuck Schumer decides not to run again for reelection come his up next year, and I do not believe aoc will run for his seat, she has plans for higher office. Number two, senator John Cornyn in Texas will defy the odds and win his primary. Hakeem Jeffries will not be the speaker if the Democrats win the midterms next year,” Perino said.

Co-host Kayleigh McEnany had a few political predictions, including her belief that Republicans would do well in November’s midterm elections.

“Number one you are going to have a very unhappy November because I think Republicans will outperform in the midterms, Jessica, apologies, so number two I went all political is also unfortunately, an attempt to mimic Donald Trump’s playbook to the White House,” McEnany said.

“Someone who is a Democrat will declare their candidacy for the president after the midterms before the end of the year, I’m thinking Gavin Newsom. Number three, Kamala will publish a book, the significance of the passage of time, ahead of her 2027 announcement,” McEnany added.

The predictions come as the U.S. Supreme Court appears poised to tighten the reins on how federal courts enforce Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act, potentially shielding state lawmakers from challenges that conflate race and partisanship in redistricting.

The looming decision is so significant that two well-known voting rights groups have warned that eliminating or limiting Section 2 would allow Republican-controlled legislatures to redraw up to 19 congressional districts in their favor.
