A successful businesswoman has explained her decision to leave her corporate career at 41 to join OnlyFans. Account manager Zilda Williams says her six-figure salary is no longer sufficient to sustain her in today’s challenging economy, prompting her to seek additional income by sharing content on the platform.

Zilda revealed, “I love my job and I’ve worked hard for years to get to where I am, but with the current cost of living crisis, I don’t think six figures is enough to get by.” She is burdened with a substantial mortgage and has no partner to share expenses, relying solely on herself and her rescue dog, Willow.

In her 20s, Zilda was a glamour model for men’s magazines like FHM but left that world to climb the corporate ladder in Auckland, New Zealand. Now, seeing her former modeling colleagues enjoying financial success through OnlyFans, she decided to try it for herself. “I’ve done plenty of photoshoots in bikinis and lingerie before, so why not make a little money from it?” she says, emphasizing that her content remains tasteful and is not pornographic.

Despite years away from professional modeling, Zilda finds herself more attractive to men now than in her youth. “Men actually hit on me more today than they did when I was 25 – I don’t know why. Maybe it’s because women get more confident with age?” She attributes her appeal to taking good care of herself through exercise and healthy eating.

However, Zilda’s decision has faced criticism from friends and family, who warn her against jeopardizing her corporate career for a quick payday on OnlyFans. “I’ve had close friends and family members tell me that I’m crazy and making a terrible decision, but they don’t understand what it’s like for me,” she said. Zilda’s goal is to pay off her mortgage and retire early, a feat she believes is unattainable in today’s economy without taking such risks.

Zilda also plans to use her earnings from OnlyFans to start her own business, enabling her to become her own boss. “People think I’m stupid for doing this, but I’m far from a dumb blonde. At the end of the day, I’m going to be the one having the last laugh. Yes, it’s a risk to my reputation in the corporate world, but without risk, there’s no reward.”

Since launching her account in June, Zilda has seen immediate financial success. “I wasn’t sure if anyone would care, but as soon as I posted about my OnlyFans, I got so many DMs from guys wanting to send me money and subscribe,” she said, noting that her fans range from 19 to 70 years old, with many younger men calling her a MILF, despite her not having children.

While Zilda is confident in her decision, she acknowledges the warnings from others who have taken similar paths. For example, Chloe Sasha, a single mother of four, quit her job as a receptionist to join OnlyFans and now makes $30,000 a month. Conversely, former teacher Megan Gaither regrets joining the platform, despite earning five times her teaching salary, because it led to social ostracism and the end of her teaching career.

Despite these differing outcomes, Zilda remains committed to her new venture, believing it will provide the financial freedom and future opportunities she seeks.
