Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s Daughter Gracie Comes out as Queer

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s Daughter Gracie Shares Queer Identity in Pride Month Celebration

Gracie McGraw, the eldest daughter of country music stars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, has proudly affirmed her queer identity in celebration of Pride Month.

In a series of heartfelt posts shared via Instagram Stories, Gracie embraced her sexuality with confidence and joy. One of her messages, filled with Pride energy, read: “Everyone gets more gay now!!!” followed by a cheerful, “Happy Freaking Pride. I love being queer.”

Gracie also reshared a powerful image highlighting the historical roots of Pride, reminding her followers that the movement began as a riot led by Black and Brown trans activists — a nod to the often-overlooked history of LGBTQIA+ advocacy.

Responding to some tabloid headlines that framed her Instagram post as a “coming out,” Gracie clarified that she has been openly and proudly identifying as a bisexual woman for quite some time.

“Let me be VERY clear here,” she wrote. “I’ve been out and proud queen, bisexual woman, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

She continued by expressing gratitude toward media outlets for amplifying Pride Month, even if unintentionally. “Thank you so much to these tabloids for shedding light that it’s Pride Month!!!!” she added with a touch of humor.

Beyond her own story, Gracie extended her love and support to others who may not have the same acceptance from their families. “So many people out there don’t have the support, love, or understanding from their families when it comes to their sexuality or gender identity, but just know that there is a beautiful community out there that loves you and cares about and for you!”

Her message concluded with a reminder to connect and care for one another: “Check on your people and keep safe out there. Give love to each other. GM.”

This marks the first time Gracie has directly addressed her identity in such a public way, although she has always been vocal in her support for LGBTQIA+ rights.

While Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have yet to comment publicly on her recent posts, McGraw has previously spoken with pride about Gracie’s strength, independence, and artistic passion. In a 2020 interview, he described her as “a strong, independent young lady who speaks her mind” and said he is proud of the way she lives her life every day.

Gracie recently appeared in the stage production The Great War & The Great Gatsby at Carnegie Hall, continuing to make her mark both artistically and personally.
